About Samantha Haslam
I have been teaching pilates since 2002. I am Polestar educated and did my training in Hamburg Germany. Before discovering Pilates I was a professional ballet dancer. I danced in Germany for 15 years. After giving up ballet and being left with several injuries I was delighted when I began pilates classes. Having a dance background I feel that stretching is very important and helps to open the body and release tensions we hold onto.
My classes are of mixed abilities and ages. Never more than 10 people to a group. We are in a lovely little studio with lots of natural light.
Sometimes in our hectic lives it is nice to take a little time for ourselves and spend an hour focusing on our bodies and how we are feeling. This time spent on ourselves may help to recharge us and help us cope with the stresses of life.
